NLBMDA is the recognized voice and resource of the Lumber and Building Material industry to federal legislators and regulatory agencies in Washington D.C. We have advocated for the industry since 1917 in both Legislative and Regulatory affairs.

National Policy Agenda
Each year we also release our National Policy Agenda, which we distribute to members of Congress and key Administration officials. This all-encompassing document includes positions on housing and construction; tax and economic policy; legal reform and consumer protection; workforce policy; environment, health, and safety; product supply and trade; energy; transportation; and fleet safety.
