NLBMDA Committees offer members an opportunity to have their voices heard on the issues they are most passionate about! Joining a committee gives members the opportunity to grow their network, advance their professional career, and give back to the industry.
The Government Affairs Committee
. The Government Affairs Committee is responsible to serve NLBMDA Members to monitor and advocate a single voice on all Federal legislative, regulatory, and code initiatives to protect and promote the interests of the lumber and building materials industry. The Committee Chair and Vice Chair shall be selected by the Board of Directors. Members of the Committee shall be selected by the Committee Chair.
The NLBMDA Investment Oversight Committee
The Investment Oversight Committee is responsible for safeguarding all the NLBMDA’s investments. The Investment Committee shall develop investment policy for the principal and investment gains. The Committee shall create and implement a set of criteria to be recommended for adoption by the NLBMDA Board which governs access to, and use of the principal and investment gains.
